Eleganté Ristoranté Pizzeria

My son and I stopped here on our way through Honesdale. I can’t rate the food because we never got any. We were given a two person table during a busy time and the bus boy gave us a menu and took our drink orders. We told him we knew what we wanted but he said to wait for the waitress. The waitress never came or said hello or took our order. We initially gave her the benefit of the doubt because the tables were full. But even as some cleared out, she attended to other tables and never came to us. We saw the bus boy and asked him to get our waitress, because we didn’t know who it was. He asked her in front of us if our table was hers and she said yes, but still didn’t take our order or even come to the table. We gave her one more chance to come by, but she asked the table next to us if they were good and walked away. We were hungry but after 30 minutes and two glasses of lemonade and being rudely ignored we left. Waitress was probably racist.

Been here a few times when in the area..always great..had their eggplant sub and dinner..no skimping here..it was plentiful and delicious..their tomato sauce is very tasty..pizza good too..

I normally don't get a burger from an Italian place, but the place I order from put me on hold and forgot about me. My friend was going to Elegante so I asked them to get me a burger. It one of the best burgers I ever had, and I am picky! It was huge, tasty bun, cooked just right and fries were great as well. Also the price was good. My new place for a burger!

Dont get me wrong ive worked in the food industry and i understand, if your in a rush or etc, ive wrapped things unsuccessfully, but then you are supposed to fix it lol. we waited 20 minutes for this little stromboli and when we open it, the cheese is all melted onto the paper bag because of how poorly it was wrapped and when we take it out this is what we see… again i could understand being in a rush or something but they werent packed, they were just careless. in the picture you can even see on the bag how greasy and how much it spilled out. do better.

Love the food! The owners and staff are so pleasant. It's one of our favorite spots to relax and dine.
