We enjoyed the Mahou beer and a variety of pintxos. The waiter who served us was a lovely young man, Mattin, who spoke English far better than my Spanish! It was a very busy place with people queuing up... So my guess is that it is a popular place. The food was tasty the beer was cold and the service was good.
We had a lunch at this restaurant and would rate the food mediocre. None of the wait staff spoke English so it was a bit harder to order.
In a street full of pintxo bars, this one stands out for the the quality of the staff. The tapas are pretty standard fair but they do make a clam croquette that is to die for. this is a special order though and not mentioned on the menu but usually only on the specials board. All the usual stuff, beer, wine, pintxo both hot and cold.
Nothing extraordinary good for having a beer, and their specialty: Picantes (kind of croquettes with spicy chorizo). Bocadillos are good, and price quality is fairly good. If you are wondering around, and you want to have a quiet seat inside while eating (difficult in this area as most places are crowded), that 's a good option.
