I drove an hour from Hollywood in search of Zimtrolle and found this charming and friendly restaurant. I ordered the whole monkey bread and was blown away by how delicious it was. It was definitely worth the drive. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Phil's Berry Farm The Red Barn Estate:
Don't let the modest appearance fool you. This place is more suitable for families with children. The only attraction is a taco and food stand situated on a small plot of land with houses in the background. There isn't much to do or explore, but the food options are worth stopping by for. Recommend the non Dairy shakes if you have lactose intolerant issues and the monkey bread 10/10 on everything, 5 stars
We came here after seeing a bluegrass band play and wanted to check it out. I had no idea it was just a few minutes away! They offer a variety of items for sale here, such as fresh eggs, shakes, honey, and "affenbrot" (a type of pastry similar to cinnamon rolls). There are picnic benches in the back under shady trees where you can sit and enjoy your food. They also have a fish farm on site where you can buy fish for your tank or fresh water plants. You can purchase something or just take a leisurely stroll around the area. It's pretty cool that they also rent out this space for events and it is open to the public. The only downside is that there are two separate bathrooms located in a small shed; one side has a handicap ramp and the other side has a few steps. However, they do provide toilet paper and can bring a hand towel upon request. If you look behind the bathroom, you'll see a goat, and if you look in the other direction, you'll see a row of chickens where the eggs come from. Overall, it's definitely worth stopping by to grab a shake, affenbrot, honey, and some fresh eggs!
