Odeeny's Caribbean - Homestead

I was drawn in by the positive reviews, but unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to the hype. I ordered a turkey meal, and I'm still puzzled about which part of the turkey I actually received—was it the neck? The salad was just pre-packaged chopped lettuce from the grocery store. The rice and beans tasted stale. And to top it off, it was a $14 dish. The highly praised squash soup was also unavailable, along with any other soup. I'm hoping it was just an off day for them, but I don't plan on returning.

Please don’t waste your time or money here. I spent $40 on two plates that we couldn't eat. The oxtail was as tough as beef jerky and had no flavor at all. The curry chicken was bland and equally flavorless. It's disappointing when the best part of the meal is just the white rice.

I absolutely loved everything about this restaurant! The cozy atmosphere paired with delicious, home-cooked Caribbean food made for a fantastic experience. I highly recommend it!

I can?t explain why but the taco meat here is maybe the best I?ve had in the US. Certainly better than any I?ve had in Florida. Amazing.Their Pickliz, which is a big thing for me was actually spicy and got. The young lady in the front was great, greeted me As i walked in and patient as i made my choice. I left a hefty tip for your kindness.

I'm Haitian I approve this Wonderful restaurant! I ordered the brown rice w/ fried plantains, legume fried pork w pikliz. It was heavenly I ordered another one to go!
