Felix's Cafe - Homestead

We stopped here on our drive through to the Keys and it was the best breakfast I have ever had. The hash browns were PERFECT. The eggs were delicious. The bacon was just the right amount of crunchy and thick. And the Cuban toast was so buttery in the middle. Anytime I make this drive in the future I will always stop by.

Food was great and amazing service! A huge fan of the bacon Cuban toast here. Definitely will come back.

Felix’s cafe is a modest little spot with excellent coffee (we had a café cubano and café con leche). The cook made us an omelette sandwich and toasted croissant that was really simple and normal but also clearly made with care and tasted great.

Quite possibly the best Cuban sanwich I’ve had. (And I’ve had many. The staff is friendly and I highly recommend stopping by for a bite to eat if you’ve got the time. Everything is very affordable as well. A hidden gem in the Homestead area. Thank you guys for the hospitality.

Good American breakfast. Felix created a great off-menu breakfast for us. Very authentic: only local customers, no tourists except for us. Coffee and unsweetened ice tea were very tasty as well as the poached eggs, sandwiches and toasts.
