Lighthouse Drive-thru Grill - Homer

Ordered fish chips $20, specifically asked should I purchase another side of Fries, told no, they are good portions. I see signage stating condiment charges for extra ketchup, vinegar, tartar sauce, lemon so on. So I receive my order at a seperate shack, she hands it to me and walks away. I open the fish and chips, there are literally no more than 12 fries, less than a Mc Dees Small Fries. No vinegar, no lemon. no salt, and 3 small portions of fish. I drive back around, go back up to the order window ask to speak to the Owner, he comes to the window, asks whats wrong. I asked him to look at the plate he served and said who eats fish and chips without vinegar, salt or lemon . The to go package looks empty, I paid $20 and there is not even 10 cents worth of fries in there. He seemed like he was going to work with me, BUT ! then some witch in the back starts talking BS to me. Coming from a food background and knowing how to treat customers as a business owner, I was flabbergasted, I walked away, threw the food and will never come back or recommend this establishment. Service and Food received was totally unsatisfactory.

Food is overpriced and undersized. Rude employees. Terrible customer service. Look elsewhere if you want a good meal.

We only ordered the Clam Chowder but it was very good. The wait was lengthy considering it was late afternoon and only 2 cars in front of us. I would go back for the clam chowder.

We were arriving to Homer and thought to have lunch. Wanted simple good Halibut. All four of us ordered the Halibut fish and chips. The preparation was simple with minimal (but tasty) batter. much enjoyed. during the week we tried several other restaurants, hoping for the same or better. We never found better fish in the area, despite having dined at the highest rated eateries and spending much more..... Enjoy. Cheers

We were looking for a fresh seafood dinner in Homer on our recent visit there. But we were out of season for most restaurants in town so they were closed up. Decided to try this little restaurant near our hotel. Boy are we glad we did! The fresh grilled halibut was the best we have ever experience. This cook needs national recognition! Thank you for a scrumptious meal.
