This brewery is in the top 10 local brewery stops in Alaska for sure. The staff was extremely helpful at guiding me through their brew selections on tap, son of a bitter, oatmeal stout and my number one favorite was the porter. The atmosphere was relaxing with outside seating as well. I liked it so much I purchased a Homer Brewery t-shirt! View all feedback.
What aj paul doesn't like about Homer Brewing Co:
They charged me $5ea deposit for growlers. My wife took seven growlers back and they gave her $28. So is there a rental fee or something? Not impressed. Keep the change, your beer is flat anyways. View all feedback.
The Red Knot Scottish Ale is my favorite. Also a great location.
Friendly, helpful staff and great atmosphere for a relaxing afternoon. Decent selection of beers. Although I am not a beer drinker, the group I went with found selections they enjoyed. They do have chai tea though, which was really good!

Good beer and a very chill atmosphere. The view is great as it's tucked back into a neighborhood looking at the lake. I would love to visit again in the summer just to sit outside and enjoy the view with a good beer.
