My husband and I were struggling to find a hotel walkable from our hotel in Holzminden and open on a Monday night. We even asked some teens who referred us to McDonalds! Knowing this is not a nightlife mecca, we proceeded to search and happened upon Pinoccios.We both had pasta (the specialty is pizza, but we were looking for more). My husband and I were struggling to find a hotel walkable from our hotel in Holzminden and open on a Monday night. We even asked some teens who referred us to McDonalds! Knowing this is not a nightlife mecca, we proceeded to search and happened upon Pinoccios.We both had pasta (the specialty is pizza, but we were looking for more). The dishes were good, the beer exceptional (Pilsner).They did have a (mostly) English menu, and the waitress was cheerful and pleasant. A good spot with acceptable Italian food and cozy atmosphere.
