On the way from Salzburg to Stuttgart we decided to drive from the highway to Essen. The restaurant has a rustic decor, good for this part of the country. We were very kindly welcomed. We could choose the table. The operation came to the table very quickly and the drinks were very soon at the table. We once ordered rust roasts with late zle and once Kaiserschmarrn with applemus. The waiting period for the food was pleasant, we knew that the dishes were freshly prepared. The grill was ordered and also brought. The meat is buttery and very well lubricated. The Kaiserschmarrn caramelized and still juicy. This Kaiserschmarrn was better than the one I had eaten in Salzburg. Our conclusion: a good address to leave the highway. We'll do it again.
