Hotel Michaelis is a wonderful example of a balance between family hospitality and professional staffing. In all areas we were treated very friendly and nice at all times. I came here for a mission and a meeting for three days. I had a room in the apartment house that lies right next to the hotel. For breakfast the path was about 30m over the street. The staff was friendly and responded to requests. Breakfast was fine and normal. The lunch buffet that we had during the meeting was extensive and delicious. We were there as a seminar participant. We only ate in the hotel. It might have been a bit more meat on the small buffet, but I think we ordered it this way, the hotel will probably have followed our wish. The employees have been nice, the ambience is modern. I think it's worth a few nights. Just 10 minutes walk or 2 minutes tram ride, and you are located in downtown Leipzig.

Very nice hotel in historic ruins. Excellent service and always helpful staff. Excellent and always prepared with great attention to detail — praise to the kitchen. Only for the room equipment I draw a point, since the facility, unlike in the rest of the hotel, is quite old and worn out (high-floor carpet, I find myself marginal in hotels from a hygienic point of view; but only in separate rooms).
