This restaurant review discusses a unique vegetarian spot in Camphill that stands out in Northern Ireland's Veggie scene. very tasty food and great to see another (mainly) plant based restaurant (they used to provide cow's milk; not sure if that is still the case). only problem is that portions are very small for the price. I still go but would love to have a little more food on the plate View all feedback.
My friend and I both ordered the hash from the brunch menu at this restaurant. It was delicious, with a lot of care taken in its preparation. The pickles, jam, and dips were particularly tasty, creative, and beautifully presented. We felt that adding some low-fat options like whole grain bread, yogurt, potatoes, or even some greens would have made the meal more satisfying. Unfortunately, we were still hungry after finishing our meal. I ordered a scone afterward to fill me up, but I was hoping to be full from the main dish. I was surprised to see butter served with the scone, as I had thought the hash was vegan. Despite this, I enjoyed the coffee and will definitely come back to this restaurant. However, I would caution others to be prepared to leave hungry. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the café was simply decorated. We had some difficulty hearing each other, but that may have been due to our proximity to a speaker.
This café is fantastic with delicious vegan food and drinks. Highly recommended!
Brillantes Café in Holywood offers incredibly inventively freshly prepared vegan unprocessed foods. Porridge with turmeric and granola is a pleasure and the Pesto Tofu on sourdough is exquisite. The decor is cheerful and stylish and the staff is very attentive and efficient.
Lynchpin is the perfect brunch spot with great food and lovely staff. We had the Hash and Satay Scramble which I’d highly recommend. The food is delicious and so imaginative and I love that they regularly change the menu and daily specials. We can’t wait to go back for more. You will not be disappointed with this place
