Edge Coffee - Holywood

Here twice for brunch, coffee is nice and both food options I tried were delicious (edge vegan toastie and vegan bap), dog friendly and good atmosphere at the weekend!

I recently dined at a restaurant in Hollywood and I must say, it was quite decent. The coffee was good, but there were some elements of shabbiness that reminded me of punk culture. The restroom was definitely not the best I have seen, but they did provide free personal care products for the customers. They offered a variety of fake meat options, sweet beer, and a lovely pour-over coffee that I enjoyed. The food options included some vegan and vegetarian dishes, but the quality could be hit or miss. The atmosphere was nice, although they could consider turning down the music at times. Overall, it was a pleasant place to dine.

The coffee at this restaurant is good, but the staff was not helpful. I tried to make a reservation for a table for 7 people and was told it wasn't necessary because they could easily make space for 7. However, when we arrived, there were no tables available. When we finally reached the front of the waiting line, we were told that they could only accommodate 6 people at one table and that we would have to wait for half an hour. We decided to leave and will not be returning. There are plenty of other good coffee places in the city.

I was drawn to Edge Coffee by its ethos of being a straight edge coffee shop that cares about the source of their products. They serve incredible coffee and offer a wide variety of delicious vegan treats. The kitchen provides many vegan options on the menu and can also accommodate requests to make other items vegan. The owners are delightful and the staff is friendly, welcoming, and helpful.
