The owner is committed to high quality ingredients and food preparation. Not the friendliest fellow but the food is an excellent American style interpretation of the Neapolitan classic with a bit of Sicilian-American thrown in (it?s spicier then uor Italians might be use to.. View all feedback.
What Timothy Seeley doesn't like about Fat Tomato:
I wanted to go in and purchase a pizza for lunch and three items from the store(Over $40) however the guy behind the counter was rude, so I left. I recommend avoiding this place and going to Sorrento's Pizza on King Street in West Springfield where you will both get good service and good pizza. View all feedback.
Looks like your typical pizza shop , tastes like heaven! Amazing crust crispy. Yet fluffy somehow ?! The mozzarella is made locally. Just an unexpected pizza gem .
Great pizza and probably one of the best meatball subs I?ve ever had!! The crust on the pizza was what I?ve been looking for in this area! It?s even better re-toasted! We stopped in on a rainy Monday night and the owner was very welcoming! Outstandinglittle hidden gem! ??????????
No exaggeration, this is the BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD! Desserts and salads in his fridge are delicious and delightful. We tried the grinders once. My wife loved hers, I thought mine was decent but average. The pizza is the real treat here, superiorto all other others we have ever tried! I do not recommend ordering from the website. The Slice app is terrible, and you getovercharged. Just call in your order if possible.

The pizza is delicious but the owner has terrible customer service skills. I ordered via the app and was given a time of 7:17-7:32 for pick up and that I would receive a notification when it was ready. Previous times I have ordered and shown upbefore getting my notification and have waited. My pizza was sitting on a wire rack when I arrived at 7:40. He placed it in thebox added more toppings and handed it to me. The box was cold. When I got home and opened the box the shredded cheese wasn?teven melted. My pizza was cold and when I called to ask if I made a mistake and ordered a cold pizza somehow. I was then told Iwas 15/20 min late picking up my pizza. He offered to make another one i said ?i just want to know the proper temp to reheat it, I don?t want to have to drive back?. I stated that it was cold to the touch, it was 7:46 when I called. He then told me ?ohcome on, it?s not that cold, it?s probably been a half hour from the time you picked it up? that?s when I said thanks and hungup.
