Had a Scoopon dinner at this restaurant last month. Love the contemporary interior deco and the friendly service. Menu is broad enough to provide good choices for meals. Stayed at the hotel on the weekend as a little getaway in the city due to its proximity to the casino. I was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant considering it’s in a hotel. I loved the loud and vibrant colours of the dining room and it certainly wasn’t the typical hotel buffet you come to expect!Food was also above expectations we shared the taco trio, piri piri chicken, calamari and dumplings and all were tasty and well presented. The score here is certainly due to it exceeding expectations of a Hotel restaurant (its by no means me saying it’s hatred quality :
To start we picked the onion rings bow, thats was pretty fair quantity for the price, and was really good. The hotdog was the best choice, full of cheese and taste, definitely coming back for that hotdog. Moving to the Chicken Curry, i haven't eat curry for years, but in the first bite i got all that flavour in my mouth, just wish the portion were bigger.

I had dinner twice at The Social and tried two different beer and mains. The burger was better than the Sirloin steak. Two to the Valley IPA was great. I just know on the second visit that the beer came from a can, not a tap.
The Social is a casual restaurant situated inside the Ibis Styles Hotel. Anyone is welcome to dine at the restaurant, not just hotel guests. Our dinner was exceptionally good and far better than you'd expect from a casual restaurant like this.
