The Pigs - HOLT

For the main course, my partner ordered the ox cheeks while I had the pork and fennel cake. The ox cheeks were so tender that they melted in the mouth without needing to be chewed! The gravy was thick and rich; it's the best we've ever tasted. My pork and fennel cake had a delightful flavor, with the sweetness of the fennel complementing the pork perfectly, and the portion was enormous! For dessert, we enjoyed the chocolate torte and caramel apple crumble sundae—they were both absolutely delicious, pure indulgence! Thank you to The Pig for such a wonderful evening.

On Sunday, May 20, 2018, I celebrated my partner's 50th birthday, a lovely gift from our children. We had an amazing time! The staff was warm and welcoming, and the accommodations and facilities were fantastic. We especially loved our private sauna, steam room, and outdoor area with a fire pit for toasting marshmallows. The dinner and breakfast were delightful, and we enjoyed a visit to the spa and hot tub the following day. We were even allowed to stay a bit longer since the spa was booked after our checkout time, which was a nice touch. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful; nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend this place for a special occasion!

I celebrated my 30th birthday in one of the spa suites, and it was an amazing experience. The suite had its own private sauna and steam room, which was a fantastic addition. The room was spacious, featuring a very comfortable bed and an efficient maintenance system. Outside, there was a cozy fire pit in a private garden that added a lovely touch to our stay. We also had some time in the whirlpool, which was delightful. The women accompanying me enjoyed a treatment or two at the spa, and they were very pleased with them. We had a marvelous meal during our visit, especially enjoying the “Riffes” selection. The breakfast in the morning was also quite lovely. We definitely plan to return soon!

We had a nice stay at the pigs last night, we took our doggy pickles with us, the staff were so nice and friendly and loved pickles too. eating was great and a good discount with the Norfolk Pass. I would stay and maybe have a treatment! I have never seen a place that has an honesty! I was impressed! a pity about the weather, though, how the small in-house would have been big if the sun were out. loved all the supplements like handmade soap! well made pigs.

This place is absolutely amazing. We stayed last night in a spa suite which meant you have your own sauna, steam room, and outside area with a fire pit. So luxurious, relaxing, intimate, and so worth the price that you pay. The staff were all so helpful and lovely, and nothing seemed too big or small for them. The evening food was delicious, perticulary enjoyed the main (steak cooked to perfection), and breakfast was also so tasty! We can’t wait to go back and will be upgrading to the wallow next time xxx
