Disalvo's Pizza Italian - Hollywood

This place serves great food! The staff is amazing, and the kitchen staff are some of the nicest people I've encountered. Very friendly and it's always a great experience, whether dining in, or carrying out.

After 8 months I am rewriting my review and I am naming it 3 strikes and you are out. Tonight we had a wonderful waitress but this restaurant is managed like well Poorly Managed, shortage of soup spoons, had to use a teaspoon to eat my soup, this was the beginning. Then when my meal came the Chicken Parm was burned on the bottom and the kitchen just poured sauce on top, oh what the hell the customer won't notice. This is the 3rd marginal experience. About 2 months ago I ordered pizza to go and the website specifically said for the 46th Av location, well when the driver I sent to pick it up they said no this is for the University location. Nothing to compensate for their error. Then last November when we ordered food for a party, to go, and all of the cheese was stuck to the top of the foil container. Again no let us make this right, nothing. Officially off of my list of go to places and honestly this place is run like they have just lost interest!

I would like to compliment DiSalvos Restaurant in Hollywood for the excellent customer service I received from their staff. I had a little matter with my takeout order and the Manager Howie was so pleasant and friendly to resolve my issue he went above and beyond to rectify the matter which was totally unexpected. The Hostess at the front counter was friendly and accommodating I wish other businesses would have the same customer service. The fish of the day is very good. Keep up the great work.

Well, we were a party of 6 2 teens, I am only going to review my experience.The place was crowded, so we had to wait 15mn for our table, from that point on it went at speed of light.We ordered, 5 minutes later the salad and garlic buns were served, I enjoyed that, then 5 minutes later our entrees were served.As I said I am only reviewing my entree, I choose Shrimp scampi over fettuccini, the shrimp were more like prawns and were very good and tender, the fettuccini unfortunately was a disaster, a great portion were more like a soup floating in combo of oil maybe white wine and large chunks of garlic were way overcooked, it could have been good.I didn’t sent my dish back not to embarrass my guest.Will I go back, maybe I’ll give them another try next time when in Florida. Parking: 20 or so
