China Star - Hollywood

The restaurant lies about ready for pick up the order. When I come , the manager told me about 7-10 minutes for wait minimum, but doordash has the notification “the order ready for pick up”. Do not more lies , china cafe, it’s disgusting.

We went there later in the evening when it was obvious that their business was mainly take out orders. This is one of those convenience restaurants that stay open late and where you can get last minute dinner. As such, I am giving it 5 stars. The food is your average Chinese food, not at the top, but tasty. Service was great. At that hour, there were a lot of boxes around, I don 't know if they take those away during the day.

This is the best Chinese food around. I’m not only saying that because the food is absolutely amazing and delicious but I know for a fact they are super clean and attentive with everything. I used to work here when I was in high school so I know the cleaning and organization behind this place is impeccable. I just came back to try the food and see if it was still good and I am amazed. Honestly love this place!!

The food is good here. The service and delivery. My thing is they charge $1 extra for everything. If you don't eat pork fried rice, its $1 more, want chicken fried rice? $1 more, even veggie fried rice is $1. They say they have to cook the rice to order so that why?There are better was to do this but business is business. I cant help but still give 5 stars.But I am still looking for a replacement restaurant, but it will hard.Ugh, after writing all of this- I think I am just going to pay the extra $1:

I don 't typically do reviews... Maybe I 've done 4 others prior to now. I couldn 't not come and give this restaurant a review. Easily the best Chinese food experience I 've ever had. I say experience because it is just that. I bought a Family B package for a family of 6, and we still had leftovers the next day.There were multiple times during the course of eating that we expressed to each other how amazing the food tasted. And there was this freshness about it you just don 't taste with restaurants. Those who 've eaten here i 'm sure would agree that the meat is so tender and almost melts in your mouth (idk how the h*ll they do that). It was just delicious!! AND Their shrimp are nice size.If you 're in this area and you 're thinking of getting Chinese food, or any food for that matter, I promise you 'll be glad you made this choice.SN: I didn 't even have that next day Chinese food feel that often comes with having had Chinese food the night before.
