Passing by and decided to stop by for an early dinner. Started off with the garlic rolls...yummy. They are by far one of the BEST garlic rolls I?ve had. What Daphnee Hintz doesn't like about Angelos Pizza:
It's just not good, the sauce is really bad. If I suspect, I would say that the main ingredient is Campbell's tomato soup. Garlic rolls like chewing powder, very dry. View all feedback.

1. Let's go to the restaurant. Your service is friendly and the food is delicious. In any case, it'll be back! We returned and it is still GREAT (food, service atmosphere)!
I lived in the area for 15 years and when Angelo was opened, it was like a gift from the gods. Everything, and I mean, everything I've eaten is delicious and I've eaten exactly over every item on the menu. My favorite is the Pasta fagioli the best I had. Your pizza is about as close to NY style as you can come outside NY. I moved out of the area about 1 year ago, but I still do the trek to Angelos often. The location is easily accessible with many parking spaces. The staff is very friendly and attentive. This is your quintessential neighborhood Italian food, but with high quality.
My mom called me and told me she was craving pizzeria Spaghetti. I was laughing because from my experience, I've never had great Spaghetti from any pizza joint I've been, but hey, its her craving. We drove around looking for a Pizza place but remembered that my sister had mentioned Angelo's pizza as a good place. We decided to go there and we were pleasantly surprised. To begin with, the service was great. The waitress was super friendly and talked to us on and off during our visit. She was very attentive and kept our drinks refilled at all times. The food that we ordered came out promptly, and very hot. First for appetizers we had the fried Ravioli which were stuffed with cheese and served with a nice cheesy marinara sauce. My mom ordered spaghetti with meatball, of course. It had a good amount of sauce and one huge meatball. She lived them. This also came with a salad and garlic rolls. I ordered the chicken Parmigiano sandwich which was a good size. This was pretty good but hard to handle. Ended up eating it with a fork and knife. My wife had the lasagna which she didn't think was the best because it barely had meat. I thought it was good. This also came with a salad and garlic rolls. Overall, we all enjoyed this place and will definitely come back some other time.

Unfortunately, I ordered the Penne Pasta with oil and roasted garlic (not on the menu) it was not what I expected, but, my husband loved it. We ended up exchanging plates and we were both satisfied. We ordered six plain rolls and a Nutella pizza to go. Good Lord that pizza is out of this world. If you are in the are and hungry, stop by this place. The only reason I?m giving them four stars..no canned or bottled soft drinks. Fountain drinks only. Thank you to the fabulous and friendly staff.
