What Lee Chaissan doesn't like about Athena:
The food was very good, although the portions were rather small, but the service was abysmally slow. We arrived 5-10 minutes early for a 6:00pm reservation, they took our order promptly, but we didn’t get our entrees until 7:10pm. With just a small bowl of olives for an appetizer. Very impressed by everything. I have never seen silverware, dishes and glasses this clean anywhere else! Food is insanely delicious and very medeteranian. There are many medeteranian restaurants in Boston area but none of them are anywhere close to tasting as good as the food here. Drinks were amazing too. They have espresso martini on the desert menu, definitely must try.
Great local gem. Very nice dining room, small space but not overly crowded. Excellent food. Straightforward Greek Mediterranean inspired done right. Good bar with smart cocktails. I?ll be back.
A place with delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere. Their elderflower G&T is wonderful, and I love their avocado and quinoa salad! I'll definitely return.
Bar Athena is a must try. Beautiful, intimate atmosphere, wonderful service, great drinks and delicious food using fresh, locally sourced ingredients
First time at this beautiful clean and with a great atmosphere restaurant. We absolutely loved the food, very particular flavor on everything we ate, you can taste how fresh it's. They will definitely see us again
