The prices shown here do not reflect the actual prices that To Pho charges. For example, the picture of the menu from three years ago shows a bowl of pho at $10.95. It’s closer to $19 after taxes in 2023.I went here several times. The restaurant is not your typical pho place. There is a mix and mash of other cuisines, like Korean and Shanghai. So, if you’re looking for a traditional pho place, look elsewhere. Like outside of Hollister. Because you’re not going to find another close to Vietnamese cuisine than To Pho.In terms of quality, even though it is a mix and mash of different countries’ cuisines, it is still fairly good. I had the boba, too, and remember it as being fairly decent.
It's a great place to dine In and I would definitely bring my family again
We were searching for a good lunch spot in Hollister and this asian food spot is the best. Upon entry, we found a great ambience with clean and prepared tables with a nice music playing in the background. The menu had a complete asian menu with all the meat protein choices. You have to order first and then have a seat in any table so they come and serve you. Pho noodle soup is available here. Being a vegetarian, I was so thrilled they had veggie tofu pho. But unfortunately, it seems they use chicken broth in it and not a vegetarian broth. So, I couldn't try the pho. Hope they consider making the veggie broth like in other Vietnamese restaurants for this since they post this as a vegetarian item in the menu. Nevertheless, we switched to other vegetarian and vegan items and ordered the vegetarian fried rice, vegetarian fried noodles and the vegan chicken fry. All tasted awesome. They aren't spicy at all. While my wife loved the fried rice, I personally loved the vegan chicken which is plant based protein stir fried with vegetables and served with rice. If you want to make it spicier or need a bit of soy sauce, you can find these add-ons in each table for you. The team handling the restaurant is very friendly and welcoming. They kept our experience pleasant throughout the time we were there. Street parking is available in and around the downtown area where this restaurant is. We have decided to make this restaurant for our next asian food craving while in Hollister and I highly recommend to anyone to give this a try.
First time ever having this and I was not disappointed! The food is delicious! I got the combination pho and it is amazing! The service is good as well and they're very friendly!
I've had bad experiences with pho in the area before but have to say that this was one of the best I've had, highly recommended!
