No seats?. I grew up and visited the Bountiful location, but a few days ago went to the resort for the first time and we found it incredibly strange that the only place to sit throughout the joint was a huge bank outside. No picnic tables or anything, just a big, awkward bank. The Custard is still amazing. It would be nice to eat it at a table. View all feedback.
What Alejandro Contreras doesn't like about Nielsen's Frozen Custard (holladay):
The ice cream that I got was a Concrete, It was definitely not a concrete compared to Culver’s or other places that serve concretes. The ice cream was sloppy, Wet, and runny. I found some hairs also inside my ice cream. The line is slow also. You are better off buying ice cream somewhere else. It’s not worth it. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other View all feedback.
Nectar of the Heavenly Mother. Sweet creamy and too good to explain.
Mmmm Custard. I love the simple vanilla cutard here. It's super smooth and delicious.

Frozen Custard. Who knew it. Nielsen's does frozen custard (a denser and smoother form of ice quite well dare. They are signature creation called concrete. It is essentially frozen custard that is made into a shake. Concrete come in two basic flavors: vanilla and chocolate. I had a vanilla concrete with strawberries. The wealth of frozen ecstard made it silky smooth on the tongue. In the meantime, the acid in the freshly cut strawberries (in contrast to the pitiful frozen or skillful strawberries used so often by the fat cut into the custard and delivered a beautiful contrast of aromas. Our regular concrete costs about $5. A mini costs about $3,50. Future price for a product that lets you think twice about returning to another ol' ice cone. (Note: Nielsen has a good mood for it. It was colonized by many families who made my son happy. Also the workers are all teenagers. In all these times I was in Nielsen, never an adult I saw. But, hey, with things that are so good that adults need.
Creamy and delicious!. I'm sorry but Arctic Circle has absolutely nothing on this place. The creaminess and flavor of Nielsen's just can't be beat. I avoided this place for years for some stupid reason. Maybe it was the long lines of mini vans full of screaming kids. Little did I know what I was missing out on. If you want the simple, boring flavors of chocolate or vanilla, this place isn't for you. It is all the mix-ins that give these its flavor. It's malt shop heaven. Their Chocolate Malted Almond and Cherry Chocolate Chip are simply ADDICTIVE.
