Americana 50's Diner - Holiday

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant. The service was fantastic, and the waitress remembered exactly how I order my sandwich: Pork roll, egg, and cheese, with light cheese and extra pork roll, and the meat cooked well with a firm egg. That was impressive! My family dines out here at least twice a week, and this was the only place in months that asked me whether I wanted my son's Coke before or after he got his food. That's a major pet peeve of mine—please don’t fill my child with caffeine and liquids before he eats! My husband really enjoys her breakfast as well. The food arrives promptly, and the prices are very reasonable. We make it a point to visit at least once a week!

We were welcomed by a friendly and efficient waitress who seated us and took our orders. The food came out quickly, but at a relaxed pace. To start, my partner and I both had the avgolemono soup, which was thick, creamy, and bursting with lemon flavor. We then moved on to the salad bar. While I would have liked a salad option other than just iceberg lettuce, the tomatoes and other vegetables were fresh and chilled. The bar also featured potato and pasta salads, as well as cottage cheese. I ordered the Bratkoch's special, which was tasty, although it was supposed to come with potato pancakes but was instead served with potatoes and gravy. The dish was flavorful, spiced with paprika, but I opted for cabbage as a side. Unfortunately, the cabbage had more rice than meat and was a bit dry; it could have used a bit more sauce than the small dollop of tomato sauce on top. On a positive note, the potatoes were freshly made and quite good. We ended our meal with butterscotch pudding. While it wasn't extraordinary, the food was certainly enjoyable and substantial. Considering the prices, it offers good value for money.

Pastrami Corned Beef Club: In my opinion, the food is amazing! They offer generous portions for the price, and the staff is very friendly. I would describe this place as a must-visit!
