58 Diner - Holden
58 Diner
Description
This small-town diner pairs nostalgic charm with hearty, homemade fare—huge burgers, hand-cut fries, curly fries, chicken strips and memorable biscuits and gravy. Parties and to-go orders are handled quickly, making it popular for groups and visitors. However, experiences vary: some guests praise the friendly staff and speedy service, while others report inconsistent food quality, service lapses and cleanliness concerns. Worth visiting for generous portions and classic comfort food, but be aware service and consistency can be uneven.

Very good homemade food. Wait staff was very polite and helpful. We came from out of town for district track meet and had a party of 11. They were quick to take our order and the food arrived pretty quickly. Everyone enjoyed their meal. My husband and I plan to return again even though we live an hour away.
I've been looking forward to visiting this place for two months. I returned to Holden for the second time this year to try a restaurant, and it was fantastic. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger and fried pickles, just like I did at Strate's, and both were excellent. The burger was one of the largest I've ever had, and the fried pickles were delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant. As for parking, the gravel lot added a nice touch.
We've passed by many times, it's usually always busy. We finally stopped today, got a to-go order. Chicken strips and a side. Three large pieces of chicken, and Suzie-Qs were fresh cut, the Mac and cheese with jalapenos were delicious ?. We'll be back.
