Service was a little slow. Awesome old timey diner with good breakfast

We stopped to have breakfast on our way through town. The server was not very friendly. She did not take the order correctly. When we asked for hashbrowns..she said we could upgrade from the other potatoes to hashbrowns. When we got the bill, the upgrade charge was $2.99 each. Seriously!!!???? That's ridiculous... The upgrade cost was 25% of the meal cost. If we had known the cost, we would have stuck with the standard menu....hashbrowns are not worth that much of an upgrade cost. Something has changed here....we have stopped here a number of other times for breakfast and we have never been charged $2.99 for hashbrowns....Breakfast for 2 people was $40...they priced themselves out of my comfort zone.

Food is all great there!! You can’t go wrong with this place honestly!

Great food. Great service. They treated us very well even though we needed seperate checks. They are very good.

Husb had chorizo burrito, good size, a bit greasy. I had a basic chix salad sandwich on thin sour dough bread, nothing fancy. I would have liked more chicken salad on bread, there was not much on sandwich at all, slice of thin tomato and lettuce slice. It had a nice flavor served with fries and a slice of pickle. Pricy place for the basics. We just drank water too because drink prices were high! Service was great, waitress nice. Food was overall tasty and fresh.?
