**The Changing Face of Connection Cafe: A Mixed Bag of Experiences**
The Connection Cafe has become a go-to for many in the neighborhood seeking a cozy breakfast spot. While the food consistently garners praise—particularly the omelets and French toast—recent visits reveal a decline in service quality and consistency. Patrons have encountered issues like forgotten utensils and undercooked meals, which has left some reconsidering their loyalty. However, dedicated staff members and warm atmospheres shine through, ensuring that for many, the cafe remains a beloved destination. Whether you’re after a delightful meal or a welcoming vibe, the Connection Cafe still holds promise amid its challenges.

The food was delicious. Bacon, poached eggs, and Home fries, perfect. I had a blueberry vodka drink. The best breakfast food I have ever had. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went last Sunday for brunch/lunch with my family. Both myself and one other person ordered the biscuits and gravy. It all came in a bowl together, the biscuits were basically mush and the gravy had no taste of any sausage in it. The eggs were fine. The corn beef hash was weird, the meat was thin and stringy and it came cooked like a patty. The biggest issue was with the steak- one of our party ordered the steak off the lunch specials and it came overcooked. He sent it back for a new one and the next one was raw. Quite literally only cooked enough on the outside so it looked like it had touched the grill at all, the inside was still blue and you could see the marbling. Sent it back a second time and the next one came out the exact same so he didn’t end up eating, just sent it back. Our waitress was very very nice however, apologizing a bunch even though it wasn’t her fault. Would not return.
