Joe Aggies Cafe - Holbrook

Joe and Aggie's in Holbrook, Arizona is a staple a gem. The rich history matches the flavor of the Mexican American cuisine. I ordered a chicken green chile combination plate. Food was fresh, hot, and flavorful. The perfect amount of spicy and savory. Sopapilla was made when I ordered it, and, man, was it tasty with the recommended honey. I also had a bowl of ice cream to top it off. Service was 10/10. Had a lovely waitress who was hardworking and kind. When i went to pay for my meal, Steve at the cash register took the time out to teach me about the history of his grandparents' creations.

Great service, fun atmosphere, and a neat little gif shop. So glad we stopped!

I love Joe and Aggies! Stan usually welcomes us when we come to his restaurant after a night in The Wigwams. Her Juevos rancheros is so good, even my nave bone breaks from his usual conjectures to mortal eggs. I think his employees are a family with a venerable interest in this place. Always the best food served by the most friendly people!

The first restaurant my dad, D.L. Smithson, took me to holds a special place in my heart. I absolutely love the Green Chile Combo!

I really liked the owner and his father, who founded the restaurant in 1942. It's also well-known because of the Disney Pixar movie Cars.
