General We were two in the Hohnstorfer ferry house and this for the first, but NOT for the last time. Operation The operation was very friendly and could respond to requests only the removal of the table delayed something. The food We had a Holstein plate with Matjes housewives Art, Roastbeef and Sauerfleisch there were Remoulade, Bratkartoffeln (with onions, bacon and fresh spring onions) and salad. Sauerfleisch and Remoulade were homemade. All in all very good; no star kitchen, but this is also not expected super-prepared home cooking. Nice would be a selection of wines, as these would suit the fish dishes optimally keyword fish, sunset and wine... The Ambience Gegessen was on the terrace overlooking the Elbe on the Old Town Panorama of Lauenburg only because of this it is worth a ride to the ferry house. The ambience in the restaurant is a bit old-fashioned. Cleanliness Both inside and outside clean. The toilets are unfortunately still from the 70s in orange and brown. This should be changed at times.
Waiting time in a new dimension. After the indication that a visit to table 25 would be very helpful, the operation with And? at whom it appeared. After the order it took forever until the order came. And then half of the drinks were missing. No recommendation!
Very easy to cook the kitchen, vegetables cooked, carving panade in sauce only soaky, asparagus soup was very tasty

There is a simple terrace and a few tables in front of the entrance overlooking the Elbe and the skyline of Lauenburg. In the map, German cuisine is available at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, our first choice was just sold out or only available in modified version. But together with the friendly service we could quickly find something else. Inside it is very spacious with a facility that has come in the years. The food was delicious and the view rewarding in beautiful weather if you are not just parked a SUV in front of your nose.
