General We were two in the Hohnstorfer ferry house and this for the first, but NOT for the last time. Nice would be a selection of wines, as these would suit the fish dishes optimally keyword fish, sunset and wine... The Ambience Gegessen was on the terrace overlooking the Elbe on the Old Town Panorama of Lauenburg only because of this it is worth a ride to the ferry house. The ambience in the restaurant is a bit old-fashioned. Cleanliness Both inside and outside clean. The toilets are unfortunately still from the 70s in orange and brown. This should be changed at times.

Restaurant right on the Elbe if there were not a street and a small parking space between. There is a simple terrace and a few tables in front of the entrance overlooking the Elbe and the skyline of Lauenburg. In the map, German cuisine is available at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, our first choice was just sold out or only available in modified version. But together with the friendly service we could quickly find something else. Inside it is very spacious with a facility that has come in the years. The food was delicious and the view rewarding in beautiful weather if you are not just parked a SUV in front of your nose.
