The restaurant does not always live up to the leading reputation. If it is a bourgeois cuisine, then again less than average. In a restaurant of this category, I can expect fresh mushrooms instead of canned at a mushroom dish, in this case mushrooms. The ambience is pretty, but it would also refresh. View all feedback.
General Dornröschenschloss Sababurg. Fairy tales naturally expect in connection with the ensemble as a whole. This is also the case in very predominant parts. The Sababurg is located above the extensive eponymous animal park, which attracts families and which are more likely to reach the bottom of the animal park restaurant. This is also not the case, because the restaurant Sababurg is a bit expensive. The other environment also makes the excursion beautiful, for example the jungle near the animal park. The Weserbrücken near Gieselwerder or Hann are of course not on the way back to Lower Saxony. Take, but take five amusing romantic minutes between Reinhardshagen and Hemeln. The very friendly and friendly service is very pleasant, happy, ready to be ready for the future, but also under the supervision of a very present cook that looks a bit more rigorous. There was no doubt that the food was right. I count the menu to the service so that they don't get the five points for the food apart. It was also not bad because it was created with much effort around the detail and in an appealing DIN A5 form. But she was as undisturbed as you rarely see. I didn't understand the sorting concept. This is unlike what is actually offered by the kitchen. It was on an absolutely current level that was explicitly stated (19.04.2014). It should be noted that the main courts, of which two are described below, are only available 12 to 2 o'clock. Those who want it and I can advise very much should choose this time. The card is valid from 11 am to 9 pm. The food was chosen: 1st maize powder breast roasted with herbs in a bacon, for a good season, at Portweinjus with spring vegetables and potato gnocchi for €18.50. There is only praiseworthy here, which has also been expressed in a special thanks to the kitchen. The potato gnocchi was also very good. Maybe an additional salad would have done well. 2. Reinhardswald Wildragout with Champignons, Spätzle and Blattsalaten for 17,50 €. The great fear is always: does the wild anger come hard or fair? Nothing. It was a pleasure, and it was also abundant. Images. The cappuccino for ablation with small beard bag was also very neat. For sweetening, a porcelain dish was placed, on which, in addition to the actually only necessary (skin) sugar cane, was also standing in open bowls of white candy and brown dice sugar. Cappuccino? There are no intermediate points, such as the 4,7, which would have been correct here m.E., so that the rounding takes place. The Ambience Man enters the restaurant through the archway over the castle square. Outside there are some tables on the terrace at the castle wall. From there you have a magnificent view. Inside we have discovered four different chairs, but very appealing rooms, of which three are ideal for larger groups. In the main restaurant, the Unknown Vertäfler in the 70s has driven its oak wood rustic inns. There should be a hand and look what can be expected in a castle on the walls: stone or white/cold walls. The seat is very comfortable. Three of five tables on the magnificent window side are turned to 45° in space, so that the view to the outside is only good for one table side. Cleanliness basically good. It was noted, however, that the window table we chose was released from the crumbs only by hand, which are still insulated when we approached. Covered with in-house cutlery and perfectly thick fabric napkins delight the guest. The toilets are accessible in one of the towers via a spiral staircase. To what extent barrier-free solutions are available, I have not experienced them.
