I had a fantastic evening at Cooked two weeks ago. We had a friend visiting – an international food critic – and decided to take her to Cooked, while she kept her identity as a critic a secret. By the end of the night, I think the attentive staff and chefs began to suspect who she was, which made them a bit nervous, but there was absolutely no need for concern. The food was outstanding, the service was exceptional, and the entire experience was five-star from start to finish. Kudos to Vandi and Ntombe for making our visit unforgettable; we will definitely return!
We had a wonderful lunch at Cooked! It’s a charming little spot with a small menu that has something for everyone. We appreciated the option to order full or half portions. The waitress and wine steward were both delightful, though I’m sorry I can’t recall their names. If we lived nearby, we would definitely be regular customers. It was also great to see the chef and owner actively engaged, both in the open kitchen and interacting with diners.
The menu here is fantastic! I’ve dined for both lunch and breakfast, and I can honestly say that the eggs Benedict are the best I’ve ever had. The Gintails are also outstanding. Thank you!
Great welcome started a excellent meal. A well prepared meal off a menus that is not the norm. The wine list is another surprise. Well worth a visit
