Impressed, dazzled! Beautiful simple cuisine but particularly well prepared and full of flavors. Desserts above the rest. Really attentive service as I like! The best View all feedback.
What Captain Arawak doesn't like about Chez Jean Paul:
Located near the village square which seems to be the spot of the island. Simple but decent restaurant. Herring salad as a starter and white tuna steak as a main course, unfortunately overcooked. Friendly local atmosphere. Small dining rooms where you have to slalom between the tables. Reasonable prices for an island. View all feedback.
Succulent. delicate cuisine, with taste, surprise flavors. excellent gustative and friendly moment. to emphasize the good reception and the availability of people in the room. See you next year.
Just before the closure of the establishment, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the reception (as compared to other merchants of the island) and food. a service super orchestrated by pauline that we would like to find in many restaurants. a bright and pleasant person...I recommend this establishment and come back with desire.
Small restaurant nestled in the heart of the village, warm welcome and refined cuisine. island's must-have address
Very friendly reception despite the fatigue of the late season. a well-kept kitchen based on quality products, happy surprise in a place a little isolated from the world. everything seems prepared for the order. Hence a small waiting (no matter of abnormal and quality pledge in our sense) the cider lotte, the chasing, the white butter merlu, the beef paved etc. are worth a visit. all in a relaxed atmosphere that sits well on the holidays. prices are reasonable given quality and isolation. but of course for a quick lunch during a visit to the island in a group or family, there are other better resources. for our part we will return as soon as possible lunches in September)
Very good but too expensive. even the euro dessert for a almond kouin and an ice ball. or qq strawberries with lace pancakes and whipped
