Zur Krone - Höchst im Odenwald

At the table reservation we explained that two vegans are there. In addition to the soup of the day, another appetizer and main dish was offered in vegan. The appetizer was incredibly delicious and fresh, and a great composition, and not just arrived at the table very well. Also the main meal was refined and delicious, and on the other hand our fear was not a boring must from the kitchen.

Even without special use, the breakfast buffet was not only lactose-free milk, but also coconut milk and soya cocoa. Since I did not register my incompatibility in advance, I asked in the restaurant which dishes are on the map without milk products. I was pleasantly surprised by the answer that I should order what I want and the kitchen would adapt the chosen dish for me. Also the welcome from the kitchen was spontaneously changed for us (since milk-free, once lactose-intolerant) and during dessert we were directed directly to the sorbets. Even if the dishes were very meaty, the vegetables were more than just a supplement.

We have eaten here more often and every time you realize that someone understands his craft and just cooks well. The service is always very nice and attentive. In summer you can sit very nicely in the garden. For vegetarians there is always something on the map, vegan best logged in when booking, then you will also get a creative and delicious meal here.

It surprises me to find such a small but stylish house in this desert. The rooms are clean and well furnished, without luxury. The house is quiet, more something for holidaymakers in the Odenwald. I did not visit the restaurant, but should be excellent with quality. Breakfast was okay.
