friendly, welcoming and relaxed environment with attentive and helpful staff. we explained that we were vegan when we arrived and they were happy to adapt the dishes to make them vegan. garlic bread with olive oil not butter and delicious! we had children on our party and although there is no children's menu, they were happy to offer smaller portions and adapt to the child's taste. What Howling Mad dislikes about Zagara:
I would have been more forgiving in my rating. The food was absolutely fantastic, as was the service, what I cannot forgive is 1 dirty toilets and 2 broken toilet seats. I do realise that the the general public use these facilities and they are generally disgusting, but o this occasion I think the this is an ongoing issue and needs a bit of investment going forward. Wonderful family meal! on Sunday in zargara. the menu has been updated and the selection of food is fantastic. they said they have a new cook and what can I say. he/she cooks amazing eating! big portions and eat beautifully presented! service was also great. very attentive and really knew the menu. so many dishes I would choose from can not wait to go back! well done. they are really the best Italian restaurant around!
