Happy Vegans - Hoboken

I went to this restaurant a few months ago and forgot to give a review. if the dinge has not changed drastically since then, I say that the experience was really positiw! they have a nice selection of near-Eastern foods that are authentic and made with love. the personal was really wonderful to talk to the food. I think it's just eating away now because of the covid. on my next trip to hoboken they can be sure that I visit this happy place by happy vegans.

Possibly the worst meal I’ve ever had from a restaurant, and even worse than my own cooking, which is saying something. I swear it was just wet rice with canned vegetables on top. Pretty sure there was no coconut milk or seasoning of any kind. 0 flavor. Hopefully, I just went on a bad day. Both of my friends meals, a wrap and a burger, were great. I got the cheesecake as well which did not disappoint. No idea what they were thinking with this dish.

I generally get delivery bc I’m lazy, but when I’ve gone in to pick up the staff are super friendly and seem genuinely interested in the customers being happy. I really enjoyed the Kofta wrap, black bean burger, seiten gyro, and cream of broccoli soup. Updated from previous review on 2021-05-23

It’s been awhile since I’ve been in Hoboken and this was a fabulous surprise. The gyro was delicious!

Got gyro, cheesecake and baklava. All tasted amazing
