My friend who lives in Hoboken said I had to come to his side of the river to eat the best Italian food in the world and how impossible it is to get a reservation. Tiny hole in the wall place with zero atmosphere. And for red sauce food I can confidently say I make better at home. Pimply faced kid server was so rude when I asked does the chicken parm (average and not pounded thin btw) come with pasta? Her comment was 'have you ever eaten in a restaurant before? ' Beyond disrespectful to a customer paying all cash for whatever food. And yes Rude One, plenty of good restaurants don 't give pasta with their dishes so have you ever eaten in a real restaurant before or traveled outside of NJ? I 'll be staying home in Manhattan and going to Rao 's or Il Mulino where at least they have a smile on their face when picking your pocket for red sauce Italian. I 'm sure the owners and wait staff at 'Augostealos ' don 't care about any of these reviews cause enough suckers believe the hype about this joint. Never again. Parking: NA
