Located in one of Hobbs' oldest hotels, Hobbs Family Inn, we dined here on July 20 to celebrate my husband's birthday. The steaks were moist, juicy, and bursting with flavor—truly the best in town! The chefs are right in the open, and Sharon ensures that drinks are always filled and salads are kept fresh. All the staff here are fantastic! You can easily access the Derek Lounge right next door. They gave my husband the wrong steak, cooked wrong then gave him a steak that had a sour taste to it like it's been in the refrigerator. If you're okay with waiting 30 minutes to be seated despite having a reservation, another 30 minutes to place your drink order, and a staggering 1.5 hours to receive your meal, then this restaurant might be right for you. Otherwise, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. Our waitress was attentive and skilled, and it was disheartening to see her miss out on tips while several tables chose to leave after our lengthy wait. The real issue lies in the disarray and lack of management. Unfortunately, the owners seem detached; they sat right next to us, simply observing and complaining instead of addressing the evident chaos. It felt like an episode of Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, except we were living through it. Interestingly, I visited this place two years ago in Hobbs, NM, with my son, and it was fantastic; the food and service were top-notch. I had told my wife how wonderful it was back then—what a mistake that turned out to be.

Everything was great until a group of drunk people got sat next to us (not the restaurants fault but still annoying) the steak was good under seasoned but cooked great, the teriyaki chicken was cooked great but was WAY over sauced and covered my side in teriyaki. It was good but for the price per person in my opinion not worth it Service: Dine in Price per person: $30–50
The food and service were outstanding! We will definitely be returning, as our steaks were cooked to perfection!
