The restaurant is small, but it’s beautifully decorated in a traditional Japanese style (and the Neko/Kat cushions were just adorable!). Our top three recommended dishes are squid karaage, sukiyaki, and nasu dengaku. The black sesame dessert was also a standout. This is truly the best dining experience in Hobart! I highly recommend this place—10/10! View all feedback.

The only issue I noticed was that the staff seemed a bit short-handed when I visited, which led to some delays and less effective service. However, this didn’t deter me from giving it my highest recommendation. It might have just been an off day, as I previously dined here on New Year's Eve and had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this place—don't hesitate to visit!
To the earth, honestly to good tastes. view details for taste and texture. we had the kaki frit and that was crispy on the outside, moist and juicy on the inside. hühnerkraage was juicy and tender. sashimi is fresh. gyu don, gyutan don, nikku udon fills the bauch and the soul. it is worth coming out of the way for a visit!
Service is great! Friendly and very accomodating staff. The food is so delicious! Great value for money. Thank you to our server Bruce!
