What User doesn't like about Three Japanese:
The service was ok, the location is in the middle of battery point, but I prefer other Japanese options in Hobart. The atmosphere is a bit more cafe feel than traditional Japanese restaurant. There wasn't a great deal of choice for vegetarians, no avacado, cucumber...or seaweed rolls that you would normally find. View all feedback.
A hidden gem, delicious eating, attentive staff. here you will find some unusual dishes. the chef has mastered umami. comfortable for groups of up to 6 or just go solo.
My friend and I, after spending a total of 12 years in Japan, have had our fair share of authentic Japanese meals. I highly recommend trying the nasu dengaku (miso grilled eggplant) and the salmon sashimi at this restaurant. The service was quick and efficient, perfect for when you're feeling hungry. The location in Battery Point is also very nice.
Group of 5 fussy eaters. which is for a good meal. eating cooked to perfection, service was excellent and without constant trouble unhindered. beers were at right temperatures and wein was great. his byo with rated service fees.
Friendly greeting and low key, but care / interested employees who were very welcoming. the personal knew their drinks and menu. a really nice experience in a relaxed and comfortable room with great eating! recommend the chicken and utter!
We first went to 3T when it opened way back when. Over the years it has been a bit up and down on food and atmosphere. We gave it another try last night and WOW it's the best we've experienced. A new fit out...opens up the main dining area and the outdoor setting looks cosy as. The food was sensational. From the miso soup to the teriyaki chicken it was all first class. Kingfish sashimi was the standout for sure. The new wine list is limited which we didn't mind at all. Adding a rose would be a bonus but definitely not a deal breaker. Well done to the new owners/managers you've nailed it. As locals, we will be back very soon.
