Saigon is full of fancy vegetarian restaurants. I visited here as Hum was closed and I was visiting the American War museum. The garden atmosphere and top customer service are great for special events and dates and a little awkward as a solo backpacker among large affluent families. I really enjoyed the food, however was a bit dissatisfied by the expense given the portion sizes. View all feedback.
What Hương Nhiệm doesn't like about Chay Garden:
This charming restaurant is tucked away on a side street, giving it a garden-like ambiance. The menu offers a variety of interesting options and the food is delicious. Very nice Vietnamese cuisine, many vegan options for eating, great desserts in a very beautiful open area with many trees. it is at the end of the street and therefore very peaceful.
Chay garden brings the style of vegan that is completely different but not separated. enjoy delicious meals in the chay garden is when customers are sincerely connected with people and the environment. chay garden spreads the spirit of vegetarian balance between ruthlessness and trubel, harmonie between enjoying and protecting the sustainable core.
Found this place for lunch on our way to the war museum and was blown away. Incredible vegan food, some of the nicest we’ve had in Vietnam. Slightly on the expensive side but definitely worth it. Our waiter spoke great English, food was delicious, and it’s set in an done-up outdoor garden which gives a really nice feel. ‘Lap Garden’ dish was incredible!
