Finally ticked this one off the list. The restaurant is tucked away, hidden in between a wet market. Wouldn't even know the restaurant was there, if you weren't looking for it. We ordered the bone marrow pho, Vietnamese pizza and few other dishes to share. The atmosphere was really good and service was excellent. Charming bistro. enjoy the bánh xèo tacos, dalat vassat pizza and rakeling bark dishes. the server.
Chef peter is praised for this upscale modern kitchen. everything works so well and the senses are taken for one journey, unlike anything else in saigon. I recommend the homage tasting menu, as it is what the restaurant is rebuilt in relation to ingredients; make sure to get the wine pairings. USD$100 is a crazy bargain for what they get! truffle and rare wagy suppue, caviar crabs, a literal ball of pho, and smoked watchballs were some of the highlights. the wine pairings added a whole new dimension to the experience and made an unforgettable evening meal.
Had the Saigon Tasting Menu and was looking forward to dining at the only Michelin Star restaurant in Saigon. However for $80 not entirely sure if it was worth it. Service: There was only one server the entire top floor of the tasting menu. Timings were off and food were left waiting to be picked up by the lone server which affected the temp of the food. There were more servers on the ground floor that was servicing the ala carte menu. Food: Because of the lone server I've only had one dish that was actually hot- the black cod. The prawn taco was cold- banh xeo wasn't crisp anymore. Black angus beef was luke warm to cold. The Salmon roe dish though visually beautiful was overpowered by the strong cream cheese flavor that was supposed to be crème fraiche Will I come back again? No. Does it deserve the 1-Star? Yes if service improved. Was the price worth it? No.

My favourite dining experience in HCM. Super discrete location the middle of a street market. The food was extremely creative, using high end culinary techniques and complementary flavour profiles to produce and create some memorable experiences for you. Staff were extremely attentive and recommended suggestions with drinks and even suggesting that we don't order certain drinks at certain points in the gastronomic journey. Definitely a highlight of my trip! Would go back again!
