Sybergs Chesterfield - Hitchcock

My first experience at Sybergs was average at best. The sauce is good..... if you like buffalo sauce. The sauce is like buffalo sauce that was tweaked a bit so it can't be called buffalo sauce. However, the chicken without the sauce is good and the lobster Mac and cheese was great. The shark tacos were cooked well but they put the specialty sauce on them which ruined the dish in my opinion. The onion rings were brought to the table slightly raw so those had to be replaced. Finally, they served one of the most phenomenal rare steaks I've ever had. Mouth watering when you bite into it and they pair it wit a whiskey balsamic that is just the perfect match. The only other thing I had a problem with was the waitress took way too long with refills and brought the wrong beer, but I hope that boils down to being a long night.

My husband and I were enjoying our drinks and food when a girls sports team walked in and were seated behind us. There was a large group but not enough seats for the group. The girls were screaming and the parents were standing around our table. My husband and I couldn't push our chairs back to get out because the adults were in the way. Everyone was standing around trying to figure out seating. Why allow such a large group to stand around and annoy other people eating. They could have brought people back in smaller groups not all at once ruining other patrons meals.

It was very noisy. There was food on the floor. The music was loud. The food was not good at all: chicken so cooked it had an exterior crust. I could tap it with my knife and hear a tapping sound. The salad was just some iceberg lettuce and some Provel. The vegetables were watery. Add to that the guy who delivered the food to the table slid my plate down the table to me, past the person sitting next to me. Overall, too sloppy to go back.

Food is good, great atmosphere. The wings are some of the best around. They have a large beer selection as well. I would give it 5 stars if Kyle would write down our orders! Been going there for years at lunch and he never writes down our orders. I haven't had a meal without issues or something missing ever with him. Otherwise, nice guy. UPDATE: I thought for sure this would be resolved by now. Nope, went in today and Kyle entered the wrong sauce on our chicken sandwiches. I'm begging you to write down your orders! There is no shame in it and everyone is happy.

Love the shark bite appetizer. Their salads are enormous! Haven't had anything I didn't like yet!
