I searched online and decided on Masatei, made a reservation and chose the dishes a month in advance. On the day of the reservation, I was looking forward to it. However, I was seated next to a noisy foreign couple at a small table. I was a little annoyed but sat down. When the menu arrived, I mentioned that I had made a reservation for the dishes but was told that only the table was reserved, not the dishes. I had filled out information about allergies and other preferences besides my name and address. They said the reservation would not be valid without specific dish names. This was the first time I had encountered this requirement. I travel around the country trying delicious food and always make reservations. It was frustrating that I could only book the dishes online. Despite the mediocre food, the atmosphere was somewhat lacking due to the noise. I probably won't dine here again. The meal cost around 26,000 yen for two people.
In front of my guest, a staff confirmed the price of dinner. It wasn't appropriate. Also, the dessert was not delicious. The atmosphere was good. The behavior of all customers was good. However, I'm not willing to recommend this restaurant to friends and family

I visited the restaurant again following last month's Christmas buffet. I went for the crab, but it was clearly smaller compared to last year. I would prefer crab vinegar over ponzu. The texture of the hot meal's imomochi and the live kitchen's gnocchi are similar, so I think it would be better to have pasta. Paul's service was very good.
We went with our friends because it was Hokkaido Fair, but unfortunately it turned out that only dinner was Hokkaido Fair, not lunch. The flyer was difficult to understand.
