I just ate here and it was very good. I had sweet and spicy tempeh with veggies. it was more than enough for a person. I thought the cost was very reasonable, I paid about 1600 for the court and a glass of wine. the staff was friendly and chatting. I will definitely go back. Large View all feedback.
I recently dined at this restaurant and found it to be excellent. I ordered a dish of sweet and spicy pasta with vegetables which was very satisfying and filling. The prices were quite reasonable, with the total cost coming to about 1600 for the dish and a glass of wine. The staff was friendly and engaging, making for an enjoyable experience. I will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommend.
We had a great meal at Warung Matahari on the other night. We had no reservations and it was pretty crowded, but were lucky to get a place quickly. After we had set ourselves, the employees gave us the English menu and a special vegetarian menu that was clearly listed which foods had egg or seafood or were spicy. We ordered a few dishes listed with egg, but asked for it without egg, or had seafood, but asked for it without seafood. Every time we made a special request, the staff asked the cook and came back to say it was nice- very flexible! As soon as the food came, the steamed veggies were in spicy peanut sauce, fresh spring rolls (without seafood), the grilled seitan with stirring vegetables, the bifun fried noodles and Fried rice dishes (without egg) all so wonderful and delicious. My daughter, who doesn't like spicy food, thought some of the dishes were too spicy, but my son and I loved the level of spices. My daughter loved the bifun fried noodle dish and the fresh spring rolls for a non-spicy but delicious dish. The children enjoyed the deep fried banana with ice cream also for dessert!

We had a wonderful dining experience at Warung Matahari the other evening. Despite not having a reservation and the restaurant being quite crowded, we were fortunate to be seated promptly. Upon being seated, the staff provided us with both the English menu and a specialized Vegetarian menu that clearly indicated which dishes contained egg, seafood, or were spicy. We chose a few dishes that originally included egg or seafood but requested them without such ingredients. The staff was accommodating and consulted the chef each time we made a substitution. The steamed vegetables in spicy peanut sauce, fresh spring rolls (sans seafood), grilled seitan with stir-fried vegetables, Bifun fried noodles, and fried rice (without egg) were all superb and incredibly tasty. While my daughter, who prefers milder flavors, found some dishes too spicy, my son and I relished the level of spice. She particularly enjoyed the non-spicy Bifun fried noodles and fresh spring rolls. For dessert, the kids were delighted with the deep-fried banana served with ice cream.
