Just a short 10 minutes wait on a Saturday night. The restaurant had fewer seats than usual to allow a social dispute. Try the Hiroshima lemon sour!

They c... read more Came here for lunch after visiting the Peace Memorial Park and Museum. It is very near the A Bomb Dome just next door to Nagataya which had a long queue. They close at 2pm and we were there at 130pm. The closed the restaurant after we went in. Had the lunch set and grilled oysters. Oysters were fresh and I felt the price was reasonable for the quality of food. Overall positive experience.

The lunch deal is unbeat... read more So close to the Peace memorial park, the A bomb dome and the museum, you would expect a tourist trap and not a restaurant. Far from it! The lunch deal is unbeatable, the fried oysters are amazing (if you had them in the southern US, you will be reminded of Southern food) and all the condiments are also very good. Don’t pass on the “tartar” sauce with Japanese mayo. The oysters are very clean in taste, not briny whatsoever and as a result mild in flavor. The sauce is a great addition. We also ordered a side dish of cooked spinach with Uni on top so good! If you are on your way back from the memorial this place with its food will provide some comfort.
