Vistro - Hinsdale

Was looking for steakhouses on Google and came across Vistro Prime. Menu looked good, so decided to try it for my girlfriend's birthday. The food was PHENOMENAL. I had the bone in NY Strip Steak and she tried the Ribeye. They were both perfection. Also highly recommend the Hummingbird cake. Our waitress, Mandy was excellent. Very attentive and great attitude. What a fantastic experience! As a solo traveler, I was seeking for a restaurant where I could have a wonderful time and eat delicious meals. First of all, Patrick was a fantastic bartender who helped with the incredible menu options and suggested the ideal wine! This restaurant meets all the criteria... excellent wine, service, and atmosphere, as well as excellent meal! I heartily suggest it to everyone, and if I ever get the chance to go again, I would! Thank you a lot!

Celebrated bday and staff provided wonderful attention to detail.. such a lovely experience from the moment we arrived until leaving ..

Split the Wedge Salad…not as good as I’ve had before…not enough dressing this time…too dry… had to ask for vinegar and oil to moisten it up. Onion soup good as usual Chicken Wings much too spicy for my taste..had to take them home and added a blue cheese dressing to dilute the sauce…better the second day. Servers, etc. pleasant as usual. Bad night for the Chef?

The 4oz Filet looked like a 2 oz filet. The Portion sizes were small. The food was outstanding but the portions were small for the money.
