Reviews - Redeye Coffee Roasters
Reviews summary
Nestled by the waterfront, this charming coffee shop offers a cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and an inviting view. While the location is a highlight, some customers find the coffee and food quality inconsistent. Disappointed with watery chai teas and bland food items, patrons question the value for money, particularly regarding iced coffee sizes and menu options. On a positive note, many rave about the freshly roasted beans, unique cooler drinks, and the delightful ambiance perfect for relaxing or socializing. Overall, while there are some missteps, the experience can still be enjoyable for those seeking local coffee.

What Brian A. Becker dislikes about Redeye Coffee Roasters:
I realize there aren’t many places around to get a local cup of coffee, but the quality of the food and speed of the service leave much to be desired. If this place was in Boston, it would have gone out of business by now. View all feedback.

Great artisanal coffee shop, never had a cortado or half the drinks on the espresso menu before. The coffee is great and I’m glad there’s a place like this around. Parking: There’s a parking lot for the beach/dock that leads into Red Eyes’ lot

I never stop here because the traffic in this area is awful, and it’s really hard to make the turn in, but I tried it out when I was in the area today. The place was filled with people reading papers and chatting, or just enjoying the harbor view! The parking options directly in front are very slim, and, as mentioned, good luck turning into the lot, but if you make it, you will be greeted by quality coffee and MEM Tea (locally sourced .I don’t normally drink coffee, but I tried the Cardamom Vanilla Latte and it was yummy!I also had an egg and cheese. The egg was a patty, rather than an over easy or otherwise obviously single cracked egg, so not sure if it was poured from a container or an actual egg, which was a minus for me. Also, as you can see, the patty was tiny and didn’t come close to covering the surface of the muffin.I was also dissatisfied that it didn’t come on a bagel! I didn’t realize bagel OR muffin were the options, I just glanced and saw “bagel,” and no one asked. Sadness. The muffin was tasty, and they had these roasted tomatos that I added to my egg and it was phenomenal!I did enjoy the taste of the macarons, but the wafers weren’t as thick and fluffy as I would like (I imagine these are frozen and thawed, which makes them as good as the ones you’d get at Whole Foods in those deep freezers, but not as good as fresh baked macarons from a bakery .They also had several unique cooler drinks! I’ve never seen these beverages before, and they were pretty tasty!Overall, excellent experience and I will be back :

I absolutely love this place; it serves one of the best cups of coffee I've ever tasted!
Fantastic special coffee shop. Coffee is at the point, personable baristas, and the water locations and views are amazing!
I always get the Cortado, best one on the south shore. My daughter loved there muffins.
Growing up in the south shore I thought Dunkin D's was good... It is not ! lol After finding out what the rest of the world thinks is good coffee and enjoying it often, I found it hard to go home and drink crappy coffee. Then I found this place!!! Hey friends and fam from New England ...try real coffee ! they have that here ! :

Redeye Coffee Roasters is an amazing coffee shop with a stunning waterside setting. Their coffee is outstanding—I’ve never tasted a better iced salted caramel coffee—and the muffins are equally delicious; the lemon poppy seed was my favorite. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was incredibly friendly, and we enjoyed a great chat about his business and journey. I'm thrilled to have discovered this place and will surely return. It’s now my top spot!

The coffee at Redeye Coffee Roasters is exceptional, featuring locally roasted beans, and the cafe is beautifully located right by the water. The baristas are warm and welcoming. I highly suggest picking up a bag of their light roast beans! If you love expertly made espresso drinks, be sure to try their salted caramel latte!
The view, coffee, food, and service all make up for a lack of Wi-Fi. But if they had Wi-Fi, I?d be able to work from there!

The coffee and breakfast sandwiches were excellent. The service was quick and friendly.
Amazing atmosphere, friendly staff, and strong coffee—my favorite place for coffee in Hingham!
