Mai's is a Vietnamese takeaway, with some limited seating. Food: rice vermicelli with grilled pork. Definitely fresh and also cheap $8). What Avery Mraz doesn't like about Mai's Lunch Bar:
The Vietnamese rolls now have half the fillings they did a few years ago. What’s worse is the two people serving out the front touch money, the eftpos machine and plastic numbers they give out with their gloves and then continue to prepare food. Very bad hygiene practises here. This isn’t the first time I’ve seen it either but I won’t be coming back. Lift your game guys View all feedback.

Very yummy Vietnese bread roll. Especially bbq pork. Excellent !
Not my usual type of bread roll place (no heo quay) but they really know how to churn out the bread rolls come lunch time. Simple bread roll with familiar flavours.
Still the best banh mi around! Roast pork heaven. Their lemongrass chicken thighs and spring rolls are the perfect appetiser while you wait for the roll. Always quick service, and outstanding food (and value). Can pay by card. Be warned, they do sell out!
2023 Update Nothing has changed they are absolutely the best in Adelaide Hands down. Thank you guys and welcome back. We all missed you I have been going here for ages and admittedly I have tried cold rolls from many other places, this is still hands down the best cold rolls in Adelaide. This is not limited to just the cold rolls but anything you get from the menu and the exceptional customer service, the young guy that serves you it's a delight to deal with and will go out of his way to get you what you want. These guys have food standard awards so this makes the place the cleanest and tastiest Vietnamese food shop in Adelaide. My go to is Pork cold rolls X 4 with no noodles and satay sauce which is to die for. Best sauce! Thanks guys you're amazing. See you soon
