With a diverse menu including plenty of vegetarian options and consideration for dietary restrictions, Goa is praised for its high standards and hidden gem appeal in Earl Shilton. While some customers had negative experiences with their orders and service interruptions, others were impressed with the overall dining experience and highly recommend the restaurant.
Well having eaten here a few times now and not really having much of a problem Treating my son who as come back from uni i can honestly say i was shocked Starters came out fine Main course no cutlery or serving spoons so we had to poor it out cutlery eventually turned up Curries not the same Whilst serving food to table waitress finger nail which were false and long was poking into each dish ? When paying the bill which i never check i noticed things on it which I hadn’t had ? Not happy from a place as a family we used to enjoy wont be going again SHOCKING would of said something at the time but there was a big party on opposite table
Had an excellent meal from Goa, it would have been better had my wife and I not been constantly interrupted by a waiting staff member with lengthy conversations of their own. I don’t mind when I’m not actually in the middle of a conversation or taking away but frequent interruptions of our conversation did not make for a romantic evening, furthermore, chat was so much so that our poppadoms was forgotten and when the bill was presented a card reader was given without knowing the cost of the bill. Cannot fault the kitchen though, food was excellent.
Had take-away last night, ordered my favourite dish which I have had many times, chicken pathia. It is normally a golden brown fairly thick sauce with onions, when I opened last nights found a dark red, watery sauce with no onions, there was only 6 very small pieces chicken a piece of string swimming around in it!!! With out doubt the worst curry I have ever had!!!!! If it had not been for an included popadom, 2 dips, an excellent naan bread I would not have rated it all!!
Food arrived very soon after ordering both main meals were lukewarm and rices were cold had to microwave all. Chicken saag smelt and tasted of vinegar was inedible and was thrown away. First and last takeaway from there will go back to the usual one.
Another fantastic meal from Goa once again. Really pleased. Fresh and value for money. Staff are lovely.
