Contribute Feedback What Alex Reynolds doesn't like about Desford Fish:
My aunts and I came when we were visiting Little India (next door) and ordered a bag of chips. They were pleasantly salty and had a generous portion size. We will definitely be going back. View all feedback.
I recently tried a chip at this restaurant for the first time and was very impressed. The portion size was generous and the taste was excellent.
My husband tried to go to a local chip shop that was listed as open on Google, but it was closed. He then found Desford chip shop, which was open all day until the evening on weekends. I called them and they confirmed they were open. He brought back fish, chips, peas, and a spring roll. I thought the portions would be small like other chip shops, but they were actually quite generous. I had a mini fish and chips, but the box was full to the max and the fish was thick, tasty, and not dry. My husband had a kebab that was huge and could have easily fed two people. We appreciate the large portions, especially during these tough times. Next time, I will only take what I can eat to avoid wasting food. The fish was delicious and the spring roll was also good. My husband only managed to eat half of the kebab. We are happy customers. Thank you.
Only 1 minute to foot from this chip store moved to start oktober and only used twice, but I must say every time (1 for fish and chips and the other for a mix kebab for 2) we both enjoyed the food and thought it was cooked to a very high standard with high quality ingredients
