This place was sooooooo good! My mother and I loved it! came to Haiti from Florida for tourism. It was packed with locals, which means that the food is good. The cherry juice we got was amazing! The chicken, the rice, the plan contains everything! If you're in the area, go! View all feedback.
What Arnhild Mathisen doesn't like about 5 Coins Pétionville:
Just ordered delivery from here&the food took over an hour to arrive& was SO COLD. We did not receive anything we ordered. So disappointing, especially after eating here all the time and tipping the driver View all feedback.
The food is good and tastes the same time. The area is primarily a residential and tourist area. It had a population of 283,052 at Census 2003, which was officially estimated at 376,834 in 2015. Many diplomats, foreign businessmen and wealthy citizens are engaged in business and live in Pétion-Ville. Despite the distance from the capital and the general affluence of the district, the lack of administrative enforcement has led to the formation of Schantytowns on the outer margins of the district, as poor locals migrate upwards and are located there in search of employment opportunities. Source: Wikipedia The well-maintained and privately guarded neighborhoods of Pétion-Ville resemble a haitian version of Beverly Hills, but with barbed wire. The community is very stable, performed with nightlife and business with an appearance of western normality, in striking contrast to many other parts of the larger port-au-prince. The city on the hillside lies with nightclubs, beauty salons, gyms and restaurants. Shops belonging to tourists are common, and parties and meetings often take place at night. The institutions often host considerable numbers of expatriates and foreigners. Source: Wikipedia
