Coco Ichibanya - Himeji

We have um curry com spinach, croquette and berinjela that foi maravilhoso. Você may order mais picante ou regular além to add mais of rice japonês, gohan.

So happy with this decision. Curry was fantastic. We ended up buying some of the salt. You won’t be sorry you chose here.

Chain of curry restaurants. It has more places around japan. There are a few vegan options on the menu, to choose from. The food is solid. I enjoyed the option for diffrent spice levels.

This fast food curry restaurant is part of a chain with locations all over Japan. They have a separate vegan menu (see photos I attached). You must order from this menu though. The veggie items included on the regular menu are not vegan as the brown curry sauce has animal products. I have dined at many of these CoCo Ichibanya locations. Not all of them have the vegan menus (for example, one in Kyoto near the Hyatt and the train station does NOT have the vegan menu). This place always has friendly and solid service and it is one of the few places I have found in Japan that offers seamless takeout (take-away) food in fancy, well-designed packaging so that you can bring it back to your hotel room if you choose. The one located in Himeji is right in the greater train station complex on floor 1B in the Grand Fiesta shopping mall (one level below street level). This particular restaurant has much more seating compared to others I have come across in the chain.

The restaurant was easy to locate and had a vegetarian menu available both on the table and in English. The food and service were excellent.
